Yeah, I tried the toggle, but it's just irritating - I deploy a single backend component to my customers with all of the other backend options rendered invisible and inaccessible using access controls/permissions. So the Atum template gives me this big ugly thick sidebar menu with one option. And as they always see the default view anyway, they never even need to use that menu option.
